To summarize, you are looking for a great scenic location for your Celebration/Reception Venue. You expect that there will be about 75 guests attending. In addition to a lot that the Venue does for our couples, we can help you with vendor selections for any area needed for your event.
With the setup and breakdown of the Venue's furniture inside the Venue and on the waterfront Deck being handled by the venue it automatically is less stressful than having to DIY that part of your Event Day.
Your important Reception/Celebration Day calls for an breathtaking scenic setting that inspires, is enchanting, and exceeds every expectation. You want your friends and guests to enjoy your special Day, have fun, create memories together and have meaningful Event Day.

Our Venue Manager will be delighted to assist you and make your Event Day singularly a forever memorable event and give you a venue on the waterfront with breathtaking and romantic views so you can celebrate with all the people that are the most important to you all while your photographer shoots amazing imagery.
Kathryn, there are so many moving parts to Event Day. This is why it is so important to have a process in place from the very beginning to secure the necessary vendors and to know what and when to do tasks so they can be accomplished. With 15 years experience, we have accomplished this over and over in the past with 100s of Events and Weddings.
You want your guests visiting, enjoying a tasty food cuisine, chatting with family enjoying each other and creating lifelong memories of your special weekend. Having huge skylights inside the venue and a great romantic scenic waterfront backdrop for your memorable photography helps as well!
We also offer in-house full planning or month of wedding management. If you do hire one of our in-house planners, they do a lot for you, your wedding party, and your family. If selected, our in-house planning always work with you to create a nicely flowing timeline, works the front of the house and back of the house to make sure everything is running smoothly and on time, answering any questions the vendors may have, and more so you can enjoy your stress-free Event!
More and more brides are wanting to spend the nights before and after their Event Day and are opting to have a unique boutique hotel with a lot of character (across the street from Palafox Wharf) or rent a nearby Airbnb, VRBO property for the weekend, or even just for getting ready specifically, as opposed to venues or hotels because of a little thing called character.
With an abundance of options in every style, you have more freedom to choose a unique space that not only fits the mood of your wedding (hello, cohesive gallery!) as opposed to those infamous hotel carpets and draping, but you also have more options for large, open concept spaces that eliminates the clutter. You don’t think about the negative effects of bags piled up in the corner where you’re supposed to be getting dressed until that’s exactly what happens to you. We are sincerely happy to serve and accommodate you so that your Event Day is one you will cherish and remember forever. Your Event Day will have captivating views of the enchanting, gorgeous scenic waterfront which is breathtaking, dreamy, and idyllic for your Celebration/Reception.
The Venue is well-kept and maintained. Everyone feels comfortable in relaxed luxury. We care about you and your guests experience.
The Venue was built in 1880 by a shipping company. Their ships sailed the Bay of Campache in Mexico catching red snapper. We have preserved the original flooring and many aspects of the its character. It does have a modern twist to give it a nice aesthetic balance.
From the time you reserve the Venue, to the end of your Event Day, we care. We are available to answer your questions, you are our priority. We help you create your Event Day that is personalized and unique. We are available by text, email, or phone during regular business hours.
An important feature that you always need to consider is what are the hotel and accommodation options for your out-of-town guests and for your night before event day and event night. Guests do not want to have to worry about transportation. And, restaurants and entertainment are within walking distance. At Palafox Wharf there are 2 hotels close by, one across the street from the venue and another one block away with super easy walking distance. In addition, there are numerous AirB&B options available downtown.
As an option most couples elect to add to their package Palafox Wharf's in-house event planning or coordination feature. This will help you make decisions and coordinate even the smallest details of your event. This also relieves a lot of stress. With 15 years experience, this is our expertise and will take away a lot of that pressure so you can enjoy a stress-free event (and Mom will as well!)
